OUR SERVICES
POPCORN (STUCCO) CEILING REMOVAL. SMOOTH CEILING. DUSTLESS SYSTEM
Many houses in Ontario have textured ceilings. Most of them are popcorn (also known as stipple, or stucco) ceiling, but there are other texture types such as swirl or knockdown. These ceiling types are not only ugly and outdated, but fill up with dust and spiderwebs. A flat, smooth ceiling will convert any living space to a more luxurious sophisticated look. We can transform your popcorn ceiling to a beautiful smooth finish that looks brand new. We have done many of these jobs, we have the experience, skill and tools to efficiently and professionally carry out your project.
The process is as follows:

Preparation: All floors, furniture and walls are properly masked and protected wherever needed

Texture Removal: Our top of the line dustless vacuum sanding system removes the texture from the ceiling while minimizing dust in the atmosphere.

Preparation for Mudding: Before we apply drywall compound we make sure that all drywall ceiling is solid and in good condition. We change pieces of drywall if needed and re-screw drywall if needed. Also it is time to check for cracks and tape them if any.

Mudding: Drywall joint compound is evenly applied to the ceiling, this is known as skim coat, in order to create a so called level5 finish.

Sanding: After the drywall compound has dried, the whole ceiling surface is getting vacuum sanded and polished to perfection. Now the ceiling is ready for primer

Clean-up: We remove all maskings and coverings, vacuum and mop your home. Leaving it as we were never there, except now your ceilings are smooth.
